Success

Tuesday, November 10th, 2009

Recently we spent a week of 15 hour fun and fact filled days in and near Richmond and Charlottesville, Virginia.

Richmond is enjoying a highly successful renaissance. What a treat for the lucky members of IFWTWA to view the history, art, wine and food first hand thanks to the Richmond and Charlottesville Visitors Bureau.

We have many success stories to feature in the near future on our Where & What in the World Blog.

After we all worked hard to learn what we wanted, we need to take the time to enjoy it.

Tips – Success Stories

Friday, August 21st, 2009

We love success stories. This is an example of the true meaning of success.

The Hill Team recently enjoyed a long weekend in Maine. How enlightening to meet four of the proud innkeepers of the Historic Inns of Rockland, Maine.

You can read all of the delicious details on our WWITW blog.

The Historic Inns of Rockland was formed as a consortium of inns dedicated to historic preservation.

The “real” story of their success is that they are collaborative, and cooperative, not competitive.

The historic inns, along with the theaters, museums, lobster boats, windjammers, shops, spas, galleries, wine shops, lighthouses, airlines and restaurants, all work together for the greater good.of this distinctive, revitalized city of Rockland.

The Inns promote the state of Maine, their charming city of Rockland, and each other.

Visit their website at www.HistoricInnsOfRockport.com.

Better yet, fly, drive or take a boat to visit Rockland, any time of year. The 62nd Lobster Fest in July sold out.

As an example of their success story, the inns and B&B’s are almost booked for the end of January Pie Festival.
