Success Tips – Simple Tips from Rancho LaPuerta

Saturday, May 1st, 2010

Have you noticed that some of the most simple success tips often work the best?
We recently spent a week of refreshment and renewal at Rancho La Puerta in Tecate, Mexico.

Even though we had the responsibilities of seminar speaking and writing, we slept better than ever at the ranch.

There were several reasons for our solid eight hours of restive sleep. We learned how to breathe again, slowly and deeply, we walked at least 5 miles a day, and we ate healthy organic food.

We also developed the happy habit of reading something inspiring and cheerful just before going to sleep.

What ever it takes, our days of work and exercise were far more productive and positive with a natural good night of deep sleep.

Success Tip: Abe Wagner, “Say it Straight.”

Thursday, April 8th, 2010

We learned some success tips from Abe Wagner, a fellow presenter at Rancho La Puerta in Tecate, Mexico.

Abe’s simple, yet profound, sayings have stood the test of time. He titles his tips, SAY IT STRAIGHT.
They are from one of Abe’s popular books, “Say it straight or you will show it crooked.” Here are a few of our favorites.
Speak with the purpose of resolving issues, rather than proving you are right.
Treat yourself and others with dignity and respect.
Ask for what you want and invite others to do the same.

Rancho La Puerta features special presenters every week.

You can learn more about Abe at www.AbeWagner.com.

Wednesday, February 24th, 2010

Maralyn and Brenda teach writing workshops in Florida, Arizona and Add Imagethis month at Mexico’s Rancho La Puerta, February 27 – March 6.

One of the tips they recommend is to keep a note pad and writing instrument on the bedside table. H.J.Brown, Jr. ,writes that “Million-dollar ideas sometimes strike at 3 a.m.”

They also stress that their “overnight success” with their Success book took about five years.
