Success Tip – Thought Provoking Quote from Einstein

Tuesday, May 25th, 2010

“The thinking that go you where you are today, won’t take you where you want to go tomorrow.” –Albert Einstein

Einstein’s quote is quite thought provoking. Whereas I believe the thinking that got you where you are is a good basis for moving forward, I do believe you need to be continually open to new learning experiences to move forward.

Success Tip – Quote from George Bernard Shaw

Thursday, May 6th, 2010

When I find myself making excuses and blaming circumstances, such as the economy, for the realities of my life, I try to remember this quote from George Bernard Shaw.

“People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don’t believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can’t find them, make them.”

Success Tips – Setbacks

Sunday, April 18th, 2010

“Setbacks are given to ordinary people to make them extraordinary.” by Paul Jeffers

I like and believe in Paul Jeffers quote. Many times in my life, I’ve asked, “How many setbacks do I need to overcome.” They have been overcome and I believe I am stronger because of the experience. However, I can’t say I like going through them and at times wanted to say, “Enough, already!”
