Success Tip from Theodore Hunger

Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010

“Keep steadily before you the fact that all true success depends at last upon yourself. “

Theodore T. Hunger

This goes with a similar quote, “If it is to be, it’s up to me.”–unknown.

Unfortunately, I don’t know the author on the second tip, but it says the same message with different wording.

Success Tip

Saturday, March 20th, 2010

Have you noticed that some of the most simple success tips often work the best?

We recently spent a week of refreshment and renewal at Rancho La Puerta in Tecate, Mexico. Even though we had the responsibilities of speaking and writing, we slept better than ever at the ranch.

There were several reasons for our solid eight hours of deep sleep. We learned how to breathe again, slowly and deeply, we walked at least 5 miles a day, and we ate healthy organic food.

We also developed the happy habit of reading something inspiring and cheerful just before sleep.

What ever it takes, our days of work, exercise and rest are successful because we took our new habits home with us.

Success Tip – Writing and Time

The quote that follows by Erica Jong certainly is applicable to the Hill Team. When we are writing, the time flies away. It is wonderful to do something you love.

“When I sit down at my writing desk, time seems to vanish. I think it’s a wonderful way to spend one’s life.” ~Erica Jong
