Success Tip – Quote by George Patton

Thursday, December 24th, 2009

George Patton once said “Take calculated risks. This is quite different from being rash.”

Sometimes when you start writing, if feels risky and it can be risky. Calculate the risk and determine if it is one that is right for you.

Success Tip from Orison Swett Marden

Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009

“When a man feels throbbing within him the power to do what he undertakes as well as it can possibly be done, this is happiness, this is success.” – Orison Swett Marden

For me, the quote above reinforces how I view success. If you do the best job you can do to get the job done, you’ve experienced success. I measure it more by happiness than by dollars. However, I’ll be the first to admit, dollars do help.
