Success – E Books 1

Most of what is shown below is an excerpt from INDIE Finalist, “Success, Your Path to a Successful Book,” by Maralyn D. Hill and Brenda C. Hill.

Ebooks or electronic publishing is something we are using for the first time with this edition of Success. Like anything else, there is plenty of information available online.

Publishers who offer electronic publishing usually have several formats:

  • Readers may download to their computer
  • PDA
  • Ebook reader
  • CD
  • POD technology

As soon as this book is in print, we’re sure there will be additional alternatives. Technology is growing at such a rapid rate, it is challenging to keep up.

Book Review – The Video Bible by Barry Casson, C.S.C.

Barry Casson’s book, The Video Bible, Professional secrets to home and business video production, should be on any one’s list that wants to learn or understand more about video.

BarryCasson c.s.c. is an award-winning filmmaker and President of Victoria Motion Picture School. He has more video awards and taught more students than you can imagine and has taken his expertise and put it in a book that is easy to read.

The beginner may never go as far as Barry takes you with explanations, but it helps in your over all expectations.

The Video Bible has terrific tools with a humorous anecdotes. As one who is learning about videos, it is not all point and shoot. Casson’s first hand examples can save you time and money in addition to assisting you in having a great product.

If you are venturing into video, you can learn from this experience plus the glossary is a gem.

Quest for Success

The quest for success, and the achievement of success, is not a solitary path.

I am fortunate to have a writing partner who is inspirational. Maralyn has a very supportive husband, and Norm has a most encouraging and helpful wife and partner.

We all need assistance along the way. Sometimes just a word, or occasionally someone to take over for a while.

Do not hesitate to call on your inner circle for support and networking, if you are lucky to have someone. If not tap into a personal coach or motivational counselor.

Do what ever it takes to reach your goals.
